Overview

A one-finger stunt racer about flow, air time and clean landings. Tap to accelerate, hold for backflips, and let go to stick the landing across hilly tracks.

Our Review

Sky Riders takes the one-touch stunt-racer formula and executes it with real polish. The physics are predictable in the best way: every crash feels like your mistake, not the game's, which is the hallmark of a well-tuned arcade racer. Tracks are short and varied, restarts are immediate, and the difficulty climbs at a fair pace that keeps 'one more try' alive without ever feeling cheap.

It won't surprise anyone who has played the genre — there's no story and the visual style is functional rather than striking — but it nails the fundamentals. The sense of flow when you string together clean landings is genuinely satisfying, and the high-score chase gives it legs well beyond the first hour.

What we liked

  • Tight, predictable physics
  • Instant restarts keep the loop addictive
  • High skill ceiling for a one-button game
  • Tiny download, runs on anything

What could be better

  • Visually plain
  • No real progression or unlocks beyond times
8.7/10

A superb pick-up-and-play stunt racer that proves one button is plenty when the physics are this good.
