Darwinism brings real tension to the catalog. Its survival loop — gather, adapt, outlast — is gripping, the atmosphere does genuine mechanical work, and the escalating threat clock keeps every run tense. The progression is satisfying enough to pull you back after a death.
It's rougher around the edges than the lighter games here, and the early difficulty can feel discouraging before the systems click. But players who enjoy risk-reward survival will find a moody, rewarding experience underneath.
