Overview
A goofy physics-action game where a tiny kaiju bounces, smashes and, yes, propels itself through cities. Crude humor aside, the physics puzzles are genuinely fun.
Our Review
Fart Kaiju leads with crude gags, but underneath is a genuinely enjoyable physics-action game. Mastering momentum, aim and burst-chaining gives it real skill expression, and flowing across a level on a long destructive chain is more satisfying than the juvenile premise suggests.
The humour will put some players off entirely, and the novelty can wear thin. But taken in the right spirit, it's a fun, brain-off physics toy with more depth than it lets on.
What we liked
- Surprisingly deep physics
- Satisfying momentum-chaining
- Lighthearted change of pace
What could be better
- Crude humour isn't for everyone
- Novelty can fade
A goofy premise hiding a legitimately fun physics game — if you can take the joke.
