Our Review
Clash of Vikings is base-building strategy with the grind sanded down. The core loop — build, raid, defend, upgrade — is familiar, but the pacing is noticeably kinder than the genre's giants, and you can make visible progress in a single short session. The Norse styling is appealing and the menus are clean and readable.
It's still a competitive online game, which means there's a soft pressure to keep checking in, and veterans will find the strategy fairly light. But as an on-ramp to the genre, or a casual raiding fix, it's well-judged and far less punishing than most of its peers.
